Berserk Engine Tank
Introducing, the newest version of Made-by-Kappa type 2-tori tank! Kappa Science is the Best in the World!!!
Its features include:
- Heavy duty cannon that fires magical bullets with infinite capacity
- The cannon can also be charged to shoot charged bullets
- State of the art engine that can push said this heavy duty tank at a reasonable speed
- Magical armor that can not only withstand any kind of attacks, but also create extremely destructive shockwave around the tank upon receiving an attack
- Disclaimer: breaks down after three hits
The engine is still in prototype however... and it seems... it is out of control and so it erratically moves randomly every few seconds. I guess you can still somewhat control the movement of the tank by using the recoil made by its super-heavy cannon though...
After seeing the video and hearing Mark said something along the line of "take something that the player usually has control of and make it out of control" and well... I simply take the simple idea of making the movement out of control -- the player's movement erratically changes every few seconds or so. From that idea I turn it into this game.
I try to polish this game as much as I could in the limited time that I have (since unfortunately I just happen to have a very clumped schedule this weekend). I hope you all enjoy my game
Not exactly the most well balanced game I must admit. Idk the proper spawn rate for the enemies and the items. Sometimes after a while the screen will get cluttered with both of them *chuckle*
Known bug: I don't know why but shooting the cannon is supposed to generate particle effects. In my browser it doesn't appear though... although it appears just fine in Godot.

Nice work, especially considering the short time-frame! I couldn't even consider joining with my schedule these days. :(
Your game fits the theme very well. The "controls" work, though it does get quite difficult quickly as the mines start spawning all over.
One thing I'd like to see is a game-over screen with your final score listed. I never caught my best score, as I was too busy trying to survive, and then it would insta-restart when I died. That happened so fast it was hard to tell you lost, aside from the score resetting to 0. My best score was nearing 200 pts.
One note, I can confirm that the cannon particles were not appearing on my browser either. (Firefox on Windows 10)
Wide awake at 3.30 AM (deadline is 4 AM in my TZ) realizing that I had one bug to fix.... and now I read this feedback. I hope I can implement a Game Over screen in just 30 min :O
EDIT: Aaaand done. 3.45 AM. Great daze... XD
I'd be damned. If your High Score is 200 and I got somewhere around 60 WHEN I WAS LITERALLY TRYING TO KILL MYSELF then this is a really terribly balanced game XDDD
Wellp I use Firefox on Windows 10 too. I don't know what the issue is. It works full well in Godot's player but for some reasons the HTML5 version is buggy
P.S.: Feel free to rate my game after the submission period ends and the rating period starts
Nice! That was some fast update work. I got to 196 now that I could see my final score. (200 still eludes me...)
I'll be sure to rate! Get some rest :)
Edit: At least, I'll try to rate. The new rating queue system is interesting, but looks like I'll have to play a lot of games to be able to freely rate things. ;-;
(I forgot to mention this before I slept)
By the way... the enemies are not... "mines"... the enemies were supposed to represent this:
