Golden Egg Goose (Jam Prototype)
This game is made for Yogscast Game Jam: Giving
The idea stems from the story of the goose that gives golden eggs, and from that story this is the game I have made in just two days.
The goal is to shoot the enemies (before they reach you) while keeping the goose unharmed.
Control: Just mouse. Click to shoot. Hover to the golden eggs the goose gives to collect them for money.
All SFX were made using bfxr
Enjoy :)

Nice work! Fun little game for a two day project. I got my cannon to max, and then let the enemies (drones I think?) take me out.
One thing that might give it a little more sticking power would be some sort of reward for defeating enemies. Even if it was just score, it would give a sense of progress or achievement.
You've been busy with the jams lately, keep it up!
Hello there, thanks for the kind review.
Well for now this is what I made. I did plan to add some rewards for killing enemies (yes for now I actually named them drones) -- but y'know... time constraint. There are also more features I wish to add and more upgrades.
I guess I have been joining quite some jams lately; and in January there will be a Touhou Fan Game Jam. On the contrary though I have not seen any games from you for a while... you have been busy or sth?
Yeah, unfortunately (or fortunately I guess??) I have had loads of freelance work that has sapped most of my time and energy. This is on top of my full time job and trying to have a life too, so haven't been able to dive back into game dev.
I wish I could say it's almost over, but I've actually got 2 huge projects coming in January. When it rains, it pours, as they say. I'd really like to do a Holiday Jam though, even if it's something very simple. We'll see if I get to it.
The one promise I can make is that ShibeyFaceGames is definitely not gone, just on a break! :)
